Kenneth Eugene Burnett, 85, Kingston, MO, passed away on December 21, 2022, at the Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO. Kenneth lived in the Hamilton and Kingston, MO, areas his entire life.
Kenneth was born on August 28, 1937, in Hamilton, MO, to Calvin and Ethel Thompson Burnett. He graduated from the Penney High School in 1955. He was a self-employed farmer and raised livestock.
In the past, Kenneth was a member of The Young Farmers and the Masonic Lodge of Polo, MO. He attended the Federated Church in Hamilton, and most recently The First Christian Church in Cameron. He was baptized just recently on his 85th birthday.
On January 23, 1958, he married Ruthe "Elaine" Stephenson in Cameron at the First Christian Church. She preceded him in death in 2020. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his daughter-Connie Martin, and his sister-Opal Potts.
Kenneth was family oriented and very loyal to them. He was committed to doing things right, being loyal, consistent, fair and equal. He believed in working hard, being a good steward of the land, taking excellent care of his animals, and he enjoyed nature. Kenneth expected it straight and honest, and he accepted what life gave him and never complained, always keeping a positive outlook. He took time to get to know others by investing time in them and believed that we should all keep trying, never give up, and have a goal for each day.
Survivors include his daughters-Mickie (Rick) Cummings, Hamilton; Kendra (Jon) Tiemann, La Grange, MO; and Karen (Jerald) Grimes, Osborn, MO; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 nephew.

Visitation: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
