Ken loved his family, NASCAR and the Buffalo Bills. He enjoyed playing the drums and took pride in his work as an HVAC technician of over thirty years. His kids and grandkids were his pride and joy. Ken's grandkids lovingly referred to him as "Papa."
Memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, April 11, 2026, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.
The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the funeral home.
Ken (Pops) will always be remembered by his devoted wife of thirty-two years, Tammy Cahoon; children: Melissa, Anthony (Brittany), David (Lauren); grandchildren: Amelia, Luke, and Katie Beth; mother, Betty Cahoon.
In addition to his father, Ken was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Cahoon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Saving Grace.
