Kenneth W. Case, 70 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday June 27, 2024. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on April 30, 1954, he was the son of the late Fernwood Case and Carritta Hawley. Kenneth graduated from FDR High School in Hyde Park, NY and was a self-employed painter. Kenneth enjoyed woodworking and motorcycles. He loved listening to music and playing both the piano and guitar. He enjoyed going to concerts and getting tattoos. Kenny also liked going to Woodstock and the Rosendale Festivals.
Kenneth is survived by his sister Fern Williamson and husband Wayne; Niece Jennifer "Turk" Bell and husband Shawn; great nephew and godson Tylar Ledoux and wife Nicole; great niece Katelyn Baird and husband Kayden and several other nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Stephen Case and sister Audrey Sumski.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday July 7, 2024, from 11am to 1pm at the Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home, Inc 39 So. Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. (845)452-1840. Billy and I knew Kenny for many years. We are so saddened to hear of his passing. Kenny called Billy every week or two since we moved from NY 11 years ago. Kenny was soft spoken, very talented, a straight shooter, very opinionated and a good friend , too many canny will be surely missed

I know Kenny for years since I moved up in the area .
I am a local Contractor I usually see Kenny in the morning I would
run in to Kenny every morning practically at mobile gas station on freedom plain Road what a hell of a guy he´s going to be missed good Lord will look over him.
