Kenneth Chaulk Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Society of Chittenden County on Jan. 3, 2025.
Kenneth Charles Chaulk, 85, of Burlington, VT, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024, surrounded by family. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on February 18, 1939, Ken leaves behind his three sons, Steven Chaulk, Alex Chaulk (and his wife Sheila Russell), and Andrew Chaulk (and his wife Amanda Chaulk). He was also deeply loved by his grandchildren, Daniel, Caroline, Donovan, Devin, and William Chaulk.
Ken was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sarah (Sally) Chaulk, who passed away just before Thanksgiving in 2021. He was also the last surviving member of his immediate family, joining his parents, Ernest and Sarah (Cook) Chaulk, as well as his sisters Lois, Viola, June, and Christine, and his brothers Walter, Jerry, Frank, Ralph, Lawrence, and Donald, in eternal rest.
A graduate of Northeastern University's co-op program, Ken earned an associate degree in Electronics Engineering. He enjoyed a long and rewarding career, working as a technician, salesman, manager, and leader for companies including General Radio Corp., Teradyne, Semitest, and Schlumberger until his retirement.
Ken and Sally were passionate about their family and their church. They cherished hosting family gatherings, holidays, and celebrations, while also sharing their love for animals through rescuing pets. Ken served in many volunteer roles at Wellesley Village Church, including working with youth groups, deacons, and the choir. His tenor voice was beloved by all who had the pleasure of hearing him sing. Known for his quick wit and engaging conversation, Ken found joy in connecting with others and will be missed dearly.
