Kenneth W. "Kenny" Cooper

Kenneth Wayne Cooper "Kenny", 68, of Woodstock, VA, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025. A funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 22, at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Doug Frazier. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service, and a private burial will be held following a meal at the church.

Kenny was born October 6, 1957, in Harrisonburg, VA. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Woodstock.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernie Jr. Cooper and his grandparents, Ernie and Daisy Cooper, who raised him.

Kenny grew up working with the family in the tire business. He was a jack of all trades; there was nothing he could not do and was self-employed until he retired. You would always find Kenny piddling around his land on his tractor. Those who knew Kenny, know how deeply he loved his wife and children. He became a Grandpa in May of this year to Blythe Amelia who was his pride and joy. Kenny loved the place he made his home, the quiet and solitude of nature. He enjoyed hunting but most recently, just loved watching the deer, turkey and bear that roamed through the yard and woods.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Cooper; his children, Fallon Kappus and husband, Brian, Travis Cooper and fiancée, Marcela; his grandchild, Blythe Kappus; his siblings; Danny Cooper, John Cooper, Tommy Cooper, Karen Cooper, Teresa Reeves & Judy Showman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Judes Children Hospital.
