Kenneth L. Cox July 25, 1954 – November 15, 2025
Kenneth L. Cox was born on July 25, 1954, in Bloomington, Illinois, to Hershel and Edith Cox. He spent his later years in Belle Plaine, Kansas. Kenneth was married to Nora Cox for 19 and a half years, and after her passing, he married Jane Cox on November 14, 1992.
Kenneth retired from Boeing after 39 and a half years, where he worked proudly as an AC Mechanic.
He is survived by his children, Jason and Phyllis Cox (Brayden and Emily), Jeff and Sally Cox (Jordan, Logan, and Quinnlee), Jackie Hansen (Lily, Luna, and Jayce), Joslyn Ahlgren (Glen, Nelson, Lauren, and Sterling), and Jared and Kristin Hansen (with a baby on the way). He is also survived by his siblings, Alvin Cox, Janet Epperson, Mike Cox, and Danny Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Jeremy Cox.
Public Viewing on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM and Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM (viewing from 9am-11am), both at Smith Family Mortuary 501 SE Louis Blvd Mulvane, KS 67110. Burial to follow at Belle Plaine Cemetery.
The family has asked to not receive flowers, in lieu of, please consider donating to Westside Church of Christ.
