Kenneth Lee Daniels, age 73, of Pequot Lakes, passed away at Essentia Health–St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd, Minnesota.
Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Navy, spending seven years on active duty aboard the USS Hector, USS Barbou, and USS Florikan, followed by an additional year as a Navy recruiter. His dedication to service reflected his strong sense of commitment and pride in his work.
A man of many skills and interests, Kenneth was known for his love of welding, fishing, and hunting. He enjoyed spending time at rummage sales and antique shops, watching NASCAR, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, and taking rides through town on his scooter. His easygoing spirit, sense of humor, and kind heart will be remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Daniels.
Kenneth is survived by his six children: Leann Daniels, Kendra Daniels Helms, Becky Daniels Hamilton, Kristin Daniels, Kenny Daniels, and Michelle Daniels; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his special companion, Angel; his siblings, Byron Daniels of Des Moines, IA, Sue Daniels of Pequot Lakes, MN, Teri Card of Baxter, MN, and Jean (Mike) Chisolm of Baxter, MN; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
