Kenneth Grant Davison Jr.
December 17, 1945 – August 26, 2025

Kenneth Grant Davison Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on December 17, 1945, in Lincoln, Illinois, Kenneth was the only child of Kenneth Grant Davison Sr. and Cleo Alberta Sipe Davison of Middletown, Illinois.

Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1966 to 1967, achieving the rank of Specialist. After his service, he built a long and fulfilling career as a forklift mechanic, most recently working at B&H Industries in Springfield, Missouri-a job he truly enjoyed until the very end of his life.

On May 11, 1968, Kenneth married the love of his life, Donna Kay Davison. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two children:

Kevin Grant Davison, married to Stephanie, with two children-Sierra, married to Justin and mother of two, and Kevin Grant Davison Jr., engaged to Kayla.
Valerie Lynn Griffin, married to Eric, with two children-Brittney, married to Chris and mother of four, and Braden, married to Britney.

He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Vicki Bailey, and her son Brian, married to Bryana, along with their five children.

Kenneth was a devoted member of Chino United Methodist Church. In his free time, he could often be found wrenching on old cars-especially his cherished pickup truck-fishing, shooting, and cheering on the Dodgers at games with Donna by his side.

Kenneth's legacy is one of hard work, quiet strength, and deep love for his family. He will be remembered for his mechanical skill, his sense of humor, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support multiple myeloma cancer research, in honor of Kenneth's memory.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.

Donna,
We were saddened to hear about the passing of Shug. He will always be remembered and in our hearts.
We enjoyed the visits we used to have with the both of you. Shug was always thoughtful and easy going. He always welcomed family into your home.
During this time of loss, I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Shug's spirit will forever shine through you, and his love will continue to guide your path.
With love,
Tom and Linda
