Ruby Ellen Davison

Ruby Ellen Davison, 90, of Pelham, North Carolina, passed away on August 19, 2025 at her residence.

The family invites friends and loved ones to gather in remembrance of Ruby at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville, NC. There will be a visitation on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The family welcomes all who knew Ruby to share in this celebration of her life and the legacy that she leaves behind.

Ruby will be remembered fondly for her unwavering dedication to her family and the warmth she brought into their lives. Ruby embodied the spirit of care, often seen cooking nourishing meals and providing support to those she loved. Her nurturing nature was a cornerstone of the family’s bond.

Aside from her role as a loving caretaker, Ruby had other passions that enriched her life. She enjoyed crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that were cherished by family and friends alike. Throughout her life, she cultivated a hobby that not only showcased her creativity but also symbolized the comfort she extended to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert Davison, as well as her daughter Terry Lee Bowles and son James Harold Davison. Their memories continue to live on through the stories shared by Ruby’s family.

Ruby is survived by her children: Glenda Jones (Jimmy), Patti Frost (David), Robert Paul Davison II (Trish), and Jamie Davison. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love and compassion.
