Kenneth Howard DeChene, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on July 14, 1942, in Limestone, NY, to the late Richard and Margaret DeChene. Ken spent his life dedicated to his passions and family.
Ken proudly served in the US Army and after made a career as an electrical engineer, spending many years working with a signage company, and he brought creativity and ingenuity to his work. In his free time, he was known for his adventurous spirit, enjoying gold mining and geo stone collecting, often sharing his finds with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Ken is preceded in death by his loving wife, Diane DeChene, and his brothers, David DeChene and Jim DeChene.
He is survived by his loving nieces, Heidi, Tabatha, Luann, and Cathy; nephew, Richard and a host of other extended family and friends.
His family will remember him as a kind-hearted man with a zest for life.
