Kenneth A. Devey, 62, of Murrysville, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. He was surrounded by those who loved him. Ken was born December 15, 1961, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Samuel and Alberta (Kingsford) Devey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Devey.
Ken was an avid hunter. ever the outdoorsman. He loved deer, and turkey hunting with his wife, friends, and especially his granddaughter Ella. He worked at Crown Lift Trucks for the last 30 years as a Fork Lift Mechanic. He took so much pride in teaching younger mechanics the trade, and had the ability to fix just about anything. "Jack of all trades" He loved driving his golf cart around his big yard, and spent countless hours at auctions, watching football, and in his fishing boat with his family. Ken was a compassionate man who loved his wife, and family more than even life its self. For his family, friends, those he mentored he will be greatly missed.
Ken is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon (Tepke) Devey and his four children, Kathleen "Kate" Devey, Samantha "Sam" Devey, Kelly "Wawa" Devey, Jacob Henry Devey; a granddaughter, Ella "Weeze" Gillette-Devey; two brothers, Jason Devey, Pete (Jen) Devey; and a sister-in-law, Dorris Devey as well as many nieces and nephews.
For Ken family was simply everything.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his wife, Sharon Devey. Visitation will occur from 1 to 3 & 5 to 7 pm, at which time a funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville.
