Kenneth “Doug” Pyle, 69, of Pampa passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 in Pampa.
Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Dale Meadows, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Doug was born on September 14, 1954 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Jesse and Earma Pyle. He moved to Pampa in 1974. Doug married the love of his life Donna Baker on June 17, 1997 at Calvary Baptist Church. They were married just shy of 21 years before she passed away on May 25, 2018. Doug loved to go fishing in his earlier years. He was an ornery and loving man. Doug was a good husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to give his nurses a hard time.
Doug is preceded in death by his wife Donna; his parents, Jesse and Earma Pyle; and brother, Lynn Pyle.
Survivors include his two sons, Jared Pyle and Jacob Pyle and wife Taylor; two granddaughters, Lyra and Halleigh Pyle; two sisters, Carla Taylor and husband Clint and Willaina Alexander; brother, Larry Wayne Pyle and wife Wilma; niece, Amy Woodruff and numerous other nieces and nephews.
