Kenneth "Dale" Everhart

September 13, 1950 – October 31, 2025

Kenneth "Dale" Everhart, 75, of Church Hill, Tennessee, went home to be with Jesus on October 31, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Greeneville, TN on September 13, 1950, Dale grew up in Church Hill, where he built a life full of love, laughter, and faith. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, a loving Papaw, protector, and a loyal friend to many.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Peggy Everhart; his daughter, Kendra Jackson (Reggie); and his two granddaughters, Ali and Olivia Jenki, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his brother, Ronnie Everhart (Sherry). He was welcomed into Heaven by his son, David "Chad" Everhart, and his parents, Kenneth and Joyce Everhart.

Dale was known for his kind heart, his gentle strength, and his deep faith in God. He never complained, no matter what he faced, and he always seemed to know the right thing to say - but only when you were ready to listen. He was "Papaw" not just to his own granddaughters, but to everyone who knew him. Though he was a big man, his heart was even bigger - steady, loyal, and full of love.

Those who knew Dale will remember him for his quiet wisdom, his humor, and the way he made everyone feel like family. His faith never wavered, and today we take comfort knowing he is reunited with his son, Chad, and resting in the arms of Jesus.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, in memory of Dale Everhart and his son, Chad Everhart.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jon Rogers officiating. A graveside service will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
