Kenneth Ray Fowler, 81 of Bowie, TX, left this world peacefully on Sunday, September 29th, 2024 in Weatherford, TX. He was surrounded by his loving family, whose lives he touched deeply with his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering kindness
Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd, at the First Baptist Church in Sunset, with Charles Reed officiating.
Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Sunset.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1st, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
Kenneth was born July 10,1943 in Floydada, TX to Floyd and Arnice (Crowley) Fowler. As a young man he served his country in the United States Army, enlisted in 1961 part of the 101 airborne with badges Parachutist and Expert, "Riffle" awarded. In addition to being a loving daddy and taking wonderful care of his family Kenneth was a Livestock Hauler with Buchanan Dairy in Decatur, TX.
His gentle smile, storytelling, and infectious laughter will be dearly missed. Kenneth lived a life filled with adventure, hard work, and love. He cherished his time spent outdoors, fishing, camping, going on cruises and above all, he cherished moments spent with his family and friends, who were the light of his life. Rest in peace, Daddy. Your legacy of love and kindness will live on in us all.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Evelyn Skinner.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Kenneth Ray Fowler Jr., Sherry Baker, Billie Hamilton and Kennetha Burnette; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law Donald Skinner.

As a teenager, i hung out at their home as i was friends with Ken Jr.
Mr Fowler was always understanding and nice. His story telling was infectious. Hard working man for sure. Always looked up to him. I pray for peace and comfort to the entire family as they celebrate his life and memories for years to come
