Kenneth D Gaspari

Kenneth Gaspari passed away on May 13, 2025, after a long illness. A lifelong resident of South Philadelphia-aside from a brief time in South Jersey while raising his daughters-Ken was a steady, dependable presence in the lives of those around him. He showed his love through actions more than words, always ready to lend a hand or stand up for the people he cared about. Fiercely loyal and quietly generous, he always looked out for his family, his friends and his neighbors.
Ken was the devoted companion of Donna Tarasevich and the loving father of Kristi (William) Geronimo and Jaclyn Gaspari. He was a proud grandfather to Charlotte, William, and Nora. Ken was also a beloved brother to Anthony (Janet), Rick, Roseanne, Steve, and Tommy (Lori), and is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as Donna's children and grandchildren, all of whom he embraced as family.
A lifelong lover of animals and nature, Ken found peace in simple moments outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time by the lakes at the FDR Park. He could often be found there feeding the squirrels and taking in the quiet. He was especially fond of dogs and often said he liked them more than most people. His bond with animals revealed a quiet tenderness that was always part of who he was.
Relatives and friends are invited to his VISITATION Saturday, May 17, 2025, 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at THE MONTI RAGO FUNERAL HOME 2531-35 S. BROAD ST., PHILADELPHIA, PA. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ken's memory to an animal welfare charity of your choice.
