Kenneth Frederick Gibbon, 89, passed away on July 24, 2025. He was a resident of Andover, NH, for the last 33 years.

Born in Boston, MA, December 31, 1935, to Helen Falino and Frederick Gibbon, he graduated from Saugus High School in 1954. Ken went on to serve in the United States Army for three years from 1955 to 1958, Time served was mostly in France and Germany. Kenneth went on to start and run a family machine shop business for many years in Peabody and Ipswich, MA. He was a professional machinist teaching and sharing his skills with family and employees. Ken retired in 2010 and turned his creative ability into making and fabricating bowls and assorted woodworking projects that he would share with his family and friends.

Ken was married in 1963 to Jean Piasecki and they had two sons, Brian and Neal Gibbon. He remarried in 1970 to Brigid Gibbon. They shared a home in Byfield, MA, and West Newbury, MA, before moving to Andover, NH, where they spent the remainder of their lives.

Ken had a passion for poultry farming and would often show his birds at local fairs and poultry shows. Ken also raised and bred Arabian horses. You would often find him in his barn caring for them. Among other interests, Ken enjoyed raising and showing his Brittany Spaniel, Chad, who achieved Champion status.

Ken is survived by his son, Neal Gibbon; granddaughters Amanda Gibbon and Nikki Gibbon; grandsons Jesse and Finnely; granddaughter Maddison; brother Dan Gibbon; and sister Joan. He was predeceased by his first wife, Jean, and son, Brian Gibbon. He was also predeceased by the love of his life, his second wife Brigid Gibbon. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. We hope to remember Ken for his generous personality and creative mind.
