Kenneth Grahn, age 76, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 28 at Oakland Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to service at church. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.

Kenneth was born on December 28, 1948, in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota to Albin and Clarice (Togstad) Grahn. He grew up in Lida Township in Ottertail County and Graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1966. On December 8, 1966, he was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Lynn Kugler in Sisseton, South Dakota. From this union, 4 children were born. They lived on the family farm where Ken grew up, then they moved and farmed various farms in Western Minnesota before moving to Myrtle in 1980. After the kids grew up Ken and Lynn moved to Oakland in 1999. He worked at Naeve Hospital, later Mayo Health systems, for 40 years before retiring in 2020.

Ken was a member of the Oakland Lutheran Church in Oakland, MN. He was a farmer at heart and loved International Tractors. In his free time, he enjoyed going to tractor shows, watching old westerns, especially Gunsmoke and anything with John Wayne, dancing with Lynn and travelling with Lynn. They travelled all around the country including trips to Oregon, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky and Duluth. The most important thing to Ken was his family. He enjoyed camping with them and the family reunions he planned were greatly anticipated by all.

Ken is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lynn; son, Jon Grahn; daughters, Kerri Grahn (Mike Sjogren), Marcia (Verlon) Jensen, Stacy (Mike) James; grandchildren, Kendra and K-Lynn Sjogren, Tyler (Jamie) Jensen, Brittany (Jordan) Schilling, Brody and Taylor Jensen, Becky, Nelson, Jordan and Tucker James; great-grandchildren, Madison, Raelyn and Connor Jensen, Haydyn Schilling, Ruby Lynn Spencer; siblings, Aldin (Ruth) Grahn, Cheryl (Gale) Pfeiffer, Clarence (Lori Jayne) Grahn; sister-in-law Joan Grahn; brother-inlaw, Jim Day; several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; in-laws; brothers, Virgil and Arvid; sister Connie Day.

His family would like to thank St Johns and St Croix Hospice for the wonderful care that Ken received.
