Kenneth Greulich Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory - Punta Gorda on Mar. 22, 2025.
Kenneth F. Greulich, 92, Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
Ken lived in Hudson County, NJ for 50 years, then moved to Punta Gorda and enjoyed the sunshine for over 40 years. Ken owned his own business in NJ and was an excellent mechanic, who knew what was wrong just by the sound. In Florida he enjoyed working for Palm Motors and at the PG Train Depot selling antiques. He was stationed in Alaska during the Korean War and was a proud Veteran. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and member of the Elks, Lions, and Peace River Antique Auto Clubs.
Ken will be deeply missed by his wife Mary, his loving son Kenneth (Donna), grandchildren Michelle (Matt); Kevin (Kim) his great grandchildren Ellie, Connor and Logan, and was loved by his nieces and nephews, along with his many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife Florence ('92), second wife Geraldine ('05), and recently his sister Rose ('25).
Ken enjoyed playing dominoes, eating out especially buffets and always had a warm smile and a gentle heart. In 2023, Ken went with the Southwest Florida Honor Flight Organization, who safely transports Veterans to Washington DC to be honored at their memorials; with the help of his chaperone Pat and all the volunteers made it a memory of a lifetime.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made in Ken Greulich's name to Southwest Florida Honor Flight Organization, www.swflhonorflight.org/donate.
Visitation for Ken will be held from 12 noon to 1 Pm on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Roberson Funeral Home located at 215 Mary Street in Punta Gorda. Mass of Christian Burial will follow with Mass starting at 1:30 Pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 211 W. Charlotte Avenue in Punta Gorda. Services will conclude with Committal and Military Honors at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens cemetery in Punta Gorda.
