Kenneth G. Hagg, 79, of Genoa, passed away on November 6, 2024 at Upstate University Medical Center in Syracuse after a brief illness.
Ken was born October 21, 1945 in Dover, New Jersey, a son of the late Arvid W. and Hazel Mae (Johnson) Hagg. An area resident for most of his life, Ken worked for many years as a machinist at Hammond & Irving, Inc., in Auburn. He was known for his bulldozing projects, digging ponds throughout the area over many years. More recently, he assisted at Reeves Brothers Trucking.
He is survived by his daughters: Tina Hagg (Wayne Allen), Tracy Mix (Doug), and Tammy DuBois (Charlie); seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Ward (Ray), of VA.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Shirley (Allwood) Hagg, in 2023, and by three brothers.
At Ken's request, there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to Shurtleff Funeral home, and online condolences may be shared at www.shurtleffservices.com .
