Kenneth Steven Hall, of Oliver Springs, passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 74. He was born on April 26, 1951, to John and Betty Hall. He was preceded in death by his father, John Hall; his brother, Barry Hall; and his grandparents, Logan and Grace Moore.
After graduating from Clinton High School, Ken enlisted in the Navy, serving his country with pride. Following his military service, he began a successful 20+ year career at Union Carbide, later retiring from the Y-12 facility in Oak Ridge. Ken was a man of many hobbies and passions. At various points in his life, he was a scuba diver, softball player, marathon runner, bodybuilder, firearms broker, motorcycle enthusiast, and substitute teacher. However, his lifelong passions were reading and fitness. Those who knew him well will remember his dry sense of humor and his unmistakable, raucous laughter.
Ken is survived by his mother, Betty Hall; his beloved children, Wesley Hall and Stefanie Monroe; his cherished grandchildren, Eva, Leo, and Jacob Monroe; the mother of his children, Terri Hall; and many friends who will miss him dearly.
In accordance with his wishes, no memorial service will be held. The Hall family extends their gratitude to Jackson Funeral Home for their support during this time.
