Kenny was born November 7, 1945, in Sugar Grove, Ohio to Wayne Wiley Hanning and Anna Marella Fausaugh Hanning. Kenny retired from Selkirk Metalbestos in Logan; helped trim weeds at Knollwood Cemetery in Logan; frequent visitor at Witten's fruit stand in Logan; he liked to paint ceramics; and liked to do puzzles.
Surviving are sons, Larry L. (Kathy) Nye and Tracy E. (Christy) Nye; grandchildren, Lorin, Curtis, Kaylyn, Nick, Kassidy, Dakota, and Larryn; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Hanning; sister, Susan Baker; sisters-in-law, Tammy Mead and Letha Hanning; and many nieces and nephews.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tawny Hanning; grandchild, Jonathan; brother, Robert Hanning; sisters, Margaret Goff and Bonnie Eby; and his favorite pet, Heidi.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday November 5, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Wednesday November 5, 2025.
