Kenneth Paul Haschke, Sr.

Kenneth Paul Haschke, Sr., 74, passed away on September 20, 2025, in his hometown of
Victoria, Texas. Born on December 21, 1950, to Anton Haschke, Sr. and Christine Zandonatti Haschke. Kenneth lived a life of dedication, service, and deep love for his family and country.
A proud veteran, Kenneth served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1992, retiring as a Master Sergeant E7 after 20 years of distinguished service. During his time in the USAF, Kenneth served in Sardinia, Korea and Thailand then travelled all over implementing new personnel systems. He continued his commitment to public service as a civil servant after retirement, working for the USAF from 1992 until his retirement in 2015.
Kenneth was first married to Catherine Sauer Hillyard, with whom he shared the early years of his family life. He later married Charlyene Haschke in 1991 in Aurora, Colorado, and they remained devoted to each other until her passing.
Kenneth was a man who found joy in the simple things-hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family. He lived in San Antonio, Texas, and Aurora, Colorado, before returning to Victoria in his later years.
Kenneth is survived by his children: Kenneth Paul Haschke, Jr. of Manor, TX; Clinton John Haschke (Jennifer) of Port O'Connor, TX; and Michelle Lee Haschke of Chattanooga, TN. He also leaves behind his beloved siblings and in-laws: Carol Haschke of Port Lavaca, TX; Beverly Haschke Martin (Jim) of Goliad, TX; Joseph Haschke of
Victoria, TX; and Brenda Haschke Foil of Goliad, TX. Kenneth was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren who brought joy to his life: Kaitlyn Haschke Schul (David) of
Victoria, TX, Kyle, Kendall, and Kade Haschke of Manor, TX, Cora Haschke of Port O'Connor, TX, and Isaac, Avery, and Corinne Moorman of Chattanooga, TN. Kenneth was very excited about his great grandchild Lucy Klaire Schul who will be arriving in November.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy.,
Victoria, Texas 77901. The funeral service with military honors will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. There will be a reception post service with food and drinks.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Charlyene Dell-Knox Haschke, whom he married in 1991 in Aurora, Colorado; his parents, Anton and Christine Haschke; his brother, Anton Haschke, Jr.; his granddaughter, Klaire Haschke; his nephew, Jacob Brown; and his brother-in-law, Milton Houston Foil.
Kenneth's life was a testament to service, strength, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
