Kenneth Earl Helms

Kenneth Earl Helms, age 71, resident of Mobile, AL. Was born on October 30, 1953 and passed on May 29, 2025. Kenny retired from Omega Protein in Moss Point, MS after 26 years of service. Kenny was an avid caretaker of all animals he encountered. He also loved cooking, fishing, coin collecting, and traveling. He loved and was loved by his family and friends, who will miss him dearly.

Kenny is preceded in death by; his mother, Vera Head Helms; his father, Willie Ray Helms; and brother Willie Helms.

He is survived by; his loving wife Sherry; his daughter, Mindy Helms Revell (Douglas); devoted sister and brother in law Jeannette and Preston Tootle, Grandchildren Kourtney, Alex, and Travis Revell; Stepsons Rick Cooley, Chris Cooley (Heather); Great Grandchildren Khloe Ventura and Isabelle Revell. Also very special Step Grandchildren and Step Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Rd., Mobile, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will immediately follow.

Pallbearers: Alex Revell, Travis Revell, Rick Cooley, Chris Cooley, Rick Cooley Jr., and James Wilson.
