KENNETH 'VALENTINE' HOCK
Ken was born February14,1940 in New York City. Kenny "Valentine" became his moniker. His family moved to Flushing,,Queens,,New York where he grew up to be a 'Juvenile Delinquent'(LOL..NOT really) Ken work briefly for the United States Post Office as Special Delivery.. His favorite client was Joey Heatherton. Seeing some of his friends go the wrong path, Ken decided he was going to join the Police Force and was hired by the New York City Police Department. Married with 2 children, Ken moved to Rockville Centre(RVC) and served on the Rockville Centre Police Department (RVCPD) for 20 years rising through the ranks--1st Motorcycle COP, Detective Sergeant retiring as Sergeant of Patrol. Many people danced the night away at Holiday Inn (RVC) after Ken (Kenny Comfortable) opened the "Downstairs" (Kiss Me Downstairs) at the Holiday Inn (RVC).Then, Apples in RVC. Divorced, Ken followed the Love of His Life, Dottie, to Florida. They married in 1985 after 9 years of 'dating'! Ken became an Eastern Airlines Flight Attendant. Seeing an ad for Key West Police Department (KWPD) where He enjoyed 20 more years of police work again rising through the ranks retiring as Lieutenant. Missing his hometown of RVC, Ken returned to be the Social Director at the "Fishery" and later the "Reel". Wherever Kenny "Valentine" was, people wanted to be!! Always a smile on his face, a kind word Ken brought laughter to many; and of course, His Rings!! How do I put Ken's life into a few sentences?? I can't !! Sooo many stories everyone has to tell about Kenny "Valentine". Ken Lived the Life He Wanted and had a Great Time!! He was a Living Legend. Remember Kenny "Valentine" and You Will Smile too!! Thanks for The Memories Ken.
