Kenneth Allen Hudson, 75, of Jamison, PA, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025. Born in Philadelphia on April 20, 1950, Kenneth was the beloved son of the late Alfred Hudson and Elaine (Graziani) Hudson. Kenneth's life was marked by dedication, diverse passions, and a deep love for his family. After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy, assigned to the U.S.S. Stonewall Jackson, where he began his lifelong journey in engineering. This early experience laid the groundwork for a distinguished 37-year career as a certified Professional Mechanical Engineer at the Philadelphia Electric Company, where he contributed to the maintenance of several local nuclear power plants. Beyond his professional achievements, Kenneth was a man of many talents and interests. Music was a significant part of his life; he proudly marched in the Eagles' marching band, "Eagles Sound of Brass," and put himself through college playing drums in a jazz band. He later embraced the cello, becoming a member of the Sunday Symphonia, and even enjoyed experimenting with conga drums. His love for animals was evident in his success as an Afghan Hound enthusiast, as he guided four out of five of his cherished dogs to become champion show dogs. He was also an active and devoted member of the Afghan Hound Club of America. Kenneth also found great joy and tranquility in sailing. Above all, Kenneth was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a true friend to all who knew him. His family and friends will profoundly miss his gentle spirit and steadfast presence. Kenneth is survived by his devoted wife, Kathryn Sara (Bailey) Hudson; his son, Erik Hudson, and daughter-in-law, Dana (MacDonald) Hudson; and his cherished grandchildren, Kendra and Kyleigh Hudson, and Christopher, Nolan, and Maya Rosenberg. He also leaves behind his three brothers, Skip, Brian, and Leo Hudson. Kenneth's Life Celebration will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, from11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at John F. Givnish of Buckingham, 4886 York Road, Buckingham, PA 18912 and to participate in his Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment with military honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
