Kenneth Donald Jones, 77, of Mansfield, passed away at the Arbors of Mifflin on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Mr. Jones was born on March 25, 1948, to the late James Thomas Jones Sr. & Nona Beatrice (Ray) Burke in Mansfield, Ohio.
Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and, most of all, fishing. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball, with the Cleveland Indians being his favorite team. He was also a proud Cleveland Browns fan. He was a US Navy veteran serving his country proudly during the Vietnam War, receiving an Honorable Discharge and an award during his time of service.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children Alethia Jones, Kenya Young and Kevin Jones; stepchildren Cedric “Kahlifa” and Keysha Harris; siblings James T. Jones Jr., Emma Jones Quander, Bishop Clifton (Slyvella) Jones, Jacqueline Rawls, Garry (Paris) Jones, Marcel Burke and Pastor Jeffrey (Christoya) Jones; grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Vera, a daughter, Shannon Young, a stepson, Travis Harris, a sister, Barbara Helm, and his brothers Richard Jones, David Burke, James Arthur Jones, and Jerry Burke.
