Kenneth Robert Kerr

Kenneth was born in Butte, Montana, He resided in Spokane in his late adolescence and graduated from Shadle Park h.s. where he met his bride Sherry Lynn Jacobsen of 60 years in which they wed September 22, 1965.

After graduation Ken worked as the first chef for the Cedars floating restaurant in Coeur d'Alene ldaho. "Ken through his adult life visited this restaurant several times and shared many stories of how the building came to be, Often serving staff would sit and visit with him in absolute awe...for he was a super historian. In this time Ken also worked as management chef for sambos restaurant as well as volunteering for the American Red Cross as a diver for recovery response here in Spokane.

As Ken became an adult he worked for Ace concrete for many years until he opened his own concrete pumping business KRK pumping. One of Ken's biggest projects was helping pour the last surface of the Grand coulee dam in which he was certainly proud of. He also did a lot of work at Hanford as well as multiple light weight projects through the downtown Spokane area. As his company grew through the years he became KRK Konstruction. Ken is known through the greater Spokane area and outlying areas for work he has done upon great satisfaction to his consumers.

As Ken and Sherry grew their marriage and businesses they also grew their family. In 1971 they had their first born girl Kenlynn Kerr. In 1975 they had their second born boy Kameron Kerr. Kameron married Christina Lenz in 1997. Ken built his home in Colbert Washington and from there, their lives then grew as a family of many adventures...In 1980 they purchased a home on Schweitzer Ski Resort. This is where many of Ken's memories reside along with deep sea fishing with captain Ken Culver of the TEQUILA" in Westport Washington, hunting in Wilbur, Davenport and Rosailia Washington, as well as many kid friendly vacations. Ken became a grandfather to Jordyn Kerr/Salvador in 1992, Dakota Boone in 1996, Kasey Kerr/McNitt in 1998, Kyle Kerr in 2001, Kaleb Kerr in 2004, and Kaden Kerr in 2008. He is also very proud of his great pop title to his little sweeties Aubriella, Addilynn, Ellianna and Kaisen who brought him many smiles and joy.

Ken will be missed by many. He has now found his peace and completion of a life filled with many beautiful memories.
