Kenneth Kinsey

Kenneth Kinsey, 63, of Ellijay passed away Sunday March 29, 2026 following a sudden illness.

Born August 10, 1962, Kenneth had been a resident of Ellijay for 27 years and previously lived in Forsyth County. For many years he owned and operated Kinsey Sanitation in Ellijay. Kenneth enjoyed fast cars, especially his 1967 RS Camaro. He was also an avid fisherman his entire life. A loving and devoted husband, daddy, brother and grandfather, he especially enjoyed his grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Eula Ray Kinsey, Nephew, Kaleb Payne and mother-in-law, Eva Lou Daniels.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Angie Kinsey of Ellijay; daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Jesse Kincaid; grandchildren, Harley, Ariel, Jesse Jr., Colt, Fallon, Kaisley Mae, Remington; sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Kenneth Payne; father-in-law, Junior Daniels; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kathie and Ronald Barrett, Dennis and Laura Daniels, Jeffrey Daniels; other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Barry Payne, Rev. Dennis Daniels, and Rev. Ronald Barrett will officiate. Interment will follow in The Jesus Church Cemetery in Ellijay.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday March 31 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
