Kenneth Andrew Kohler, age 80, of Hartville, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 4, 2025. Born in Akron on March 31, 1945, Ken proudly served his country in the Army. He retired at the age of 62, to enjoy life.
Ken found delight in bowling, golfing, cards and a cold beer.
Ken is survived by wife, Joan Davies; two loving daughters, Anna Kohler-Haney (Mike) and Kara Brooks (Jack); five grandchildren, Laura Kucko (Mike), Tessa Kohler, Joseph Baltzly, Juliette Baltzly, and Jena Brooks and two great-grandchildren, Mack and Gunner Kucko who brought him immeasurable joy and he treasured every moment spent with them; siblings, Betty Ann Hertzi, John Kohler, and Jeannette Vence (Steve), along with many nieces and nephews; former wife Patricia Kohler; and his special friends, including Dave, Cliff, Bruce, and Carl.
His parents, John and Elizabeth Kohler, have preceded him in death. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he loved so dearly.
Visitation will be Sunday September 14th from 1-3 PM with a memorial service beginning at 3 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
