Kenneth H. Kowalewski, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in Omaha. He was born June 15, 1948, in Loup City, Neb., to Harry and Zita (Goc) Kowalewski.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Harry, and Zita Kowalewski; his brother, Karl Kowalewski; and son, Kyle Kowalewski.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Martha Kowalewski; his daughter, Ashley Kowalewski; his son-in-law, Tanner Weeast; his son, Ben Kowalewski; his daughter-in-law, Michelle Ruszin; his sister, Kathy Thompson; his brothers, Kelly and Kim Kowalewski; grandchildren, Freya and Zack; and nieces; and nephews.
Visitation to take place on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Bethany Funeral Home with a vigil service to follow at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Columbkille Catholic Church (200 E. 6th St., Papillion, NE, 68046).
Burial Omaha National Cemetery.
