Kenneth "Kenny" L. Kraay, 74, of Anderson, passed away on October 5, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Kenneth was born on May 27, 1950 in Lafayette, IN to the late Russell and Stella (Musser) Kraay. Kenny married the love of his life, Debbie Beher, and the two were married for 43 years. After graduating from Indiana State University he began working for General Motors as a supervisor. Kenny was a master woodworker and created many pieces of furniture over the years, including cabinets, tables, and bars. He enjoyed remodeling houses and was even featured on Extreme Home Makeovers twice. Kenny restored cars and attended many car shows where he would win awards. He also enjoyed being out on the water, whether it was the lake or ocean, you could find him on his jet skis. Most importantly, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Kenneth will be dearly missed by his wife, Debbie; his children Bryan (Renee) McDaniel, Carrie (Zane) Brown, and Zach (Grace) Kraay; grandchildren, Kris, Lauren, Samantha, Kate, Brooklyn, Hunter, and Addison; great-grandchildren, Brody and Ivy; sister, Shirley Rose; and nieces and nephew, Ashley (Fonda) Bosemer, Jennifer (Michael) Jackson, and Travis (Jennifer) Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The memorial gathering will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. Memorial contributions in Kenny's name may be gifted to the Parkinson's Foundation or Melanoma Research Foundation. Kenny's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes.
