Virginia Beach - Kenneth James Krampen, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, in
Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 64. Born on November 22, 1960, in Buffalo, New York, Ken lived a life marked by service, devotion, and love.
Ken proudly served his country as a dedicated member of the United States Navy, from which he retired after a distinguished career as an aircraft mechanic specializing in H3's and F14's I level maintenance. His commitment to his work and country was unwavering and earned him the respect of his colleagues and all who knew him. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ken found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His heart swelled with pride as he watched his grandchildren excel in their sports games, and he never missed an opportunity to cheer on his cherished Buffalo Bills. Ken enjoyed the camaraderie of playing cards and treasured the time spent with his beloved wife, Judy. He cultivated a tradition of selling Christmas trees each year, spreading holiday cheer to their community.
A devout and active member of Foundry United Methodist Church for over four decades, Ken's faith was a guiding light in his life. His kindness, generosity, and love extended beyond his family, touching the lives of all who were fortunate to know him. Most of all, Ken was a family man. He loved his wife like there was no tomorrow, and the love he gave to his children and grandchildren was admired by all. He even welcomed his children's friends into his heart and treated them as his own.
