Publish in a newspaper

Kenneth Wayne Laws was born February 28, 1944 to Earl and Connie Laws in Sherman, Tx.

Kenneth graduated from Sherman High School in 1962 and he was employed in sales with various companies after graduation. On April 20, 1964, Kenneth married Lynda Gale Ferguson and they were married for 61 years. To this union were born two daughters, Angela (Laws) Petersen and Cindy (Laws) Tucker. Over the years, the family lived in New Mexico, Louisiana, and various towns in Texas as Kenneth's job took him to new towns and adventures for his family. Kenneth and the family eventually returned to Sherman where he worked for Knight furniture for 24 years until he retired. Kenneth was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and also was a Frequent member of the Sherman senior center where he loved to play 42 and canasta and meet with his many friends there.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lynda Laws, his daughters Angela (Laws) Petersen and son in law Monte Petersen. Cindy (Laws) Tucker and son in law, Paul Tucker. Grandchildren, Chance Petersen, Cody Petersen and Madison Tucker.

Kenneth was proceeded in death by his parents as well as a brother and sister.

Kenneth's biggest thrill in life was his love for his family and we are all grateful to God and the love and leadership that Kenneth provided generously to his family and friends.
