Kenneth Lenz Obituary

Kenneth Lee Lenz
October 31, 1953 - February 28, 2026
Kenneth Lee Lenz, 72, passed away on February 28, 2026.
Born on October 31, 1953, in San Antonio, Kenneth was the beloved son of Robert Lenz and Lillian Dreibrodt Lenz. He carried with him throughout his life the values of hard work, independence, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of the outdoors.
Kenneth was a man with many friends. Everywhere he went, he seemed to know someone. His personality, friendly nature, easy conversation, and familiar smile left an impression on all who crossed his path. He was a man happiest under open skies, finding great joy in hunting, fishing, riding his horse, and raising an array of animals. Whether working the land or spending time near the water, he felt most at peace surrounded by his family and friends and surrounded by nature.
He also had a lifelong love of music, especially playing the drums. In his younger years, he proudly played in a band, sharing his energy and rhythm with those around him. In his spare time, Kenneth enjoyed working on cars, always ready to tinker, fix, or improve anything with an engine.
Kenneth valued his family. He is lovingly remembered by his three children: Nathaniel, Justin, and Angela. He is also survived by his siblings, Steven and Sandra Lenz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lillian.
Kenneth will be remembered for his strong spirit, his love of the outdoors, his wide circle of friends, and the jovial presence he brought to the lives of those who knew him. His memory lives on in the stories shared, the music played, and the wide-open spaces he cherished so deeply.
He will be dearly missed and remembered.
Services honoring Kenneth will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Emanuel's Lutheran Church in Seguin, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery.
