Kenneth E. Lohry, age 92, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on February 21, 2025 surrounded by family at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. Kenneth was born on November 16, 1932 in Fond du Lac, WI, son of Frank and Elsie (Riemer) Lohry.
Ken was employed for many years at Rockwell International as a machinist and also for a short time at Martin's Dairy as a delivery person. After retiring from Rockwell International, he started Ken's Sharpening Service in Omro, WI. Ken was a lifelong hunter and fisherman and loved participating in those activities with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed square dancing and traveling. Over the course of his lifetime he traveled to many places all around the United States, Europe, and Africa. Ken was a member of the City of Oshkosh Civil Defense from 1961-1971, a lifetime member of Whitetails Unlimited, and an active volunteer at the Berlin Gun Club for many years.
Ken is survived by his wife of 42 years, Clare Ann (Dulske); his children, Diane Lohry, Robert (Lori) Lohry, David (Joni) Lohry, Sandra (Jeff) Kovatch, Michael (Tina) Lohry, and Faye Lohry; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; his first wife, Donna (Ferdon) Lohry; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition, Ken is survived by step-children, Gordy (Jackie) Lewis, Karon Lewis, Jodi (Pawl) Vest, and sister-in-law, Rosalie Grundy.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Glen Lohry and Daniel Lohry; a grandson; step-son, Jim Lewis; and brother-in-law, Jim Grundy; sisters, Marion Lohry (Asaikaien), Marge Lohry (Schmidt), Ruth Lohry (Buelow), Kathryn Lohry (Curran), Beverly Lohry (Millard); and brothers, Harvey, Raymond, and Harold.
A memorial service for Kenneth will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh, WI with Lyn Zahorik officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until the time of the service. Inurnment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh WI.
