Beverly A. Lohry, 92, of Fond du Lac, WI passed away on March 4, 2025, at Edenbrook of Fond du Lac. She was born in Fond du Lac on February 21, a daughter of Emil and Irene (Petrich) Rost. Beverly graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 1951, where she was active in sports while attending. She married Harvey L. Lohry, Jr., in Fond du Lac on September 12, 1953. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1998.
During Harvey’s time in the military, Beverly traveled to Germany in 1957 with their two sons, Michael Allen and Patrick Lee. Bev also spent time in Alabama and the state of Washington where their third son, Jeffery Leon was born. After Harvey left the service, they lived in Canada for four years working at Harv and Lou’s restaurant service station in Agawa Bay, Ontario. The family then moved back to Wisconsin. Bev worked seasonal jobs throughout her life, raised her three boys, enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning and crafting. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and an active volunteer. She never said no to some ice cream or a drive in the country.
After Harvey passed in 1998, Beverly moved to her son Jeffery’s home and lived there for nearly twenty years. Her final years were spent living at Edenbrook of Fond du Lac where she was loved by all.
Beverly is survived by two sons, Patrick (Cleona), and Jeffery; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Darlene (Ron) Kramer; three sisters-in-law, Marge Rost, Isebel Peters, and Margaret Rost; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael; sister, Donna (Lenard) Drolshagen; and four brothers, Danial, Vernardt, Douglas (Constance) and Dale.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday, March 10, 2025, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow, beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial in Estabrooks Cemetery will follow the service.
