Kenneth Lowe Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Chas. Verheyden, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Clinton Township on Aug. 29, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Kenneth George Lowe, born on the 8th of October, 1929, in England, was a cherished soul whose laughter and kindness brought joy to all who knew him. He passed away peacefully on the 28th of August, 2025, in Clinton Township, MI, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and an unforgettable sense of humor.

Kenneth's life was marked by a deep devotion to his family, a trait that was the cornerstone of his existence. In the 1950s, he married the love of his life, Marina, with whom he built a life filled with love and laughter until her passing. Together, they raised a family that included their son, Craig, and daughter, Deborah, who married Richard Meltzer. Kenneth was a doting grandfather to his grandchildren, Samantha, who married Alex Chorosevic and Kevin, all of whom he adored immensely.

His family circle extended to his brother, Brian, brother-in-law, Bill, and a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom he held close to his heart. He is also survived by his dear friend Barbara Buell. Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marina, his son, Mark, his sister-in-law, June, and his sister, Dorothy. Each of them played a significant role in his life, and their memories continued to be a source of comfort and strength to him.

Kenneth's wit was as quick as lightning, always ready with a joke or a playful tease, ensuring that every room he entered was filled with laughter. His sense of humor was a testament to his view of life - one that should be lived joyfully and with a light heart. He was a man who found pleasure in the simple things: his love for animals showcased his gentle spirit, his enthusiasm for sports reflected his camaraderie and team spirit, and his indulgence in junk food was a reminder to savor the small delights.

Professionally, Kenneth was known for his wise counsel and kind demeanor. His colleagues and friends in various associations respected him for his insight and his ability to offer guidance with a smile. He was a man who believed in the power of kindness and lived by that principle every day. Kenneth's life was not just about the joy he brought to others, but also about the wisdom he imparted. His advice was sought after, not just because of his experience, but because of the thoughtful and considerate way he shared it. He was a pillar of strength for his family and an example of integrity and kindness for all who had the privilege of crossing his path. As we bid farewell to Kenneth George Lowe, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life filled with love, laughter, and countless happy memories.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 2, 2025 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Chas. Verheyden, Inc., 43300 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township, 48038. Funeral will be Wednesday, September 3, 2025 instate at 9:30am until time of funeral at 10:00am at the funeral home.
