Kenneth Earl Mabry

Mr. Kenneth Earl Mabry, age 70, of Cowpens, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 6, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born January 14, 1956, in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Fred Walter Mabry and Beatrice Thornton Mabry.

Kenneth worked as both a truck driver and lineman during his lifetime. He attended Mountain View Baptist Church. Ken enjoyed drag racing and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife of 51 years, his daughters, and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Melinda Cantrell Mabry of the home; two daughters, Kelly Phillips (Brad) and Kimberly Cochran (Travis Crowe); sister, Connie Biggerstaff (Clifford); brothers, Jeff Mabry and Bruce Mabry (Pam); grandchildren, Jessica Shields, Kinsley Patty, Kierstyn Cochran, Brayden Patty, Landon Cochran, Blake Cochran, Karlie Cochran, Caden Phillips, Marley Crowe, and Hagen Crowe; and two great-grandchildren, Charli Rhinehart and Lillie Rhinehart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Braylee Phillips; a brother, Sonny Mabry; and a sister, Delores Purvis.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee with Rev. Bill Pickel officiating.

Interment will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Jody Mabry, Kane Lee, Brayden Patty, Landon Cochran, Blake Cochran, Caden Phillips, and Payton Metcalf.
