Kenneth Charles Malone Sr. was born on October 25, 1953, to Willie Malone Sr. and Leona Marie Hymes-Malone in Mansfield, Louisiana. He would relocate to Houston, Texas in the early 60's. He was a proud graduate of Kashmere Senior High School. After completing high school, he met Laura Jackson, his one and only true love. They later married on April 25, 1973. From this beautiful union two children were born: Kenneth Jr. and Jessica Marie. Kenneth Sr. and Laura were married for 51 years. Throughout his life, Kenneth exemplified dedication and determination, embarking on a journey marked by notable achievements and unwavering integrity. Whether it was as a professional truck driver, where he was able to provide for his family and travel the country, or in his personal life, where he was an avid bowler, BBQ aficionado as well as a full-time jokester, Kenneth Sr. consistently demonstrated his steadfast love and compassion. Kenneth and Laura joined Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and found their home, where they are both active members. Kenneth Sr. is preceded in death by both of his parents along with brothers and sisters Gloria Jean, Sylvester, Mitzi, Evelyn, Willie Jr. and Bertha Ree. He leaves behind his children, Kenneth Jr. (Monique) and Jessica (Marques), grandchildren Dominique, Deontae, Brianna, Keyon, Kaden and Kaleb along with his baby brother, Wilton (Felicia) as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews.
