Kenneth Russell Martion, age 86, passed away on November 13th after a recent cancer diagnosis. His faith and expressed hope was to be united with his personal Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven.

During his time on earth, Ken married the "love of his life", Margie, his wife of 52 years, and became father to a daughter and two sons.

For many years before retiring, he was a proud owner of a small business, Design Engineering Inc., that specialized in land surveying.

Throughout his life, his thoughtfulness, kindness, and generosity had a positive impact on the lives of many whom he came in contact with, and most likely some that never knew him personally.

Ken is survived by his children, Jeff Martion (Laura), Kim Vaughn (Jim) and Steve Martion (Andrea); his grandchildren, Jacob (Megan), Hunter, Lauren, Cason, Ethan and Shane; his great grandchildren, Easton and Chase; his siblings, Bobby Martion (Linda), Mary Brown (Bob) and Bonnie Isaac, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margie (Hoofnel) Martion; his parents, William and Billie Louise Martion; his brother, William Martion Jr.; and grandson, Nicholas Martion.

Funeral arrangements will take place at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40205, on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a graveside service at Jeffersontown Cemetery, 3702 Billtown Road, Jeffersontown, Kentucky, 40299.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken's name to any charity or cause of your choosing would be greatly appreciated.
