Kenneth Walter Meddis, age 68 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Kenny was born January 10, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Kenneth Garwood Meddis and Jewel Woosley Meddis. He worked with his family at Kentuckiana Photoplate for many years. He also worked for Krogers for over 22 years, and also at Home Depot for 10 years. Kenny was an avid lover of his dog, Blake who he had over 8 years.
In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in death by his son, Kevin Meddis; sisters, Carolyn Meddis and Darilyn Meddis; and his brother-in-law, David Barnes.
Kenny leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 40 years, Peggy; his sons, "Little Kenny" and Kyle Meddis; sisters, Marily Ferguson (Joe), Madalyn Oesterritter (John) and Jacqulyn Crask (Larry); many nieces and nephews; Peggy's sister, Patricia Oldham (Jimmy); and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 12pm to 2pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243, with a celebration of Kenny's life at 2pm there.
Memorials may be made to the ASPCA Animal Care Society.
