Kenneth "Shane" Mitchell

Shane Mitchell age- 39 passed away February 10, 2026.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved father, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Shane was a man who loved fiercely and without condition.

He found peace in nature and often felt most at home outdoors, appreciating its quiet beauty and simple gifts. He carried a huge heart - the kind of heart that would give away his very last dime to someone he believed needed it more. His generosity, compassion, and willingness to help others defined the way he lived his life.

Most of his life, he faced personal battles that he desperately tried to overcome. In his final months, he found Jesus and chose to be baptized, which is something we can all take peace in knowing.

Despite the struggles he endured, he left lasting impressions on those around him.

He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Pamela (Pam) Jean Mitchell, his father, Richard (Rick) Allen Mitchell, and his Grandmother, Linda Warrick.

He is survived by his beautiful children, Arianna Mitchell and Waylon Mitchell; his sister, Ashley (Brian) Neal; his nephew, Kristian, and his niece, Ambria, as well as many cousins who were like siblings to him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be truly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Western Hills Church, 7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209 with David Estes officiating.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Western Hills Church.
