Kenneth Moore Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by The Wilton Mortuary on Mar. 26, 2024.
Kenneth Lee Moore, Jr., 47, of Peoria, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Thursday, March 21, 2024.
He was born January 24, 1977, in Peoria, the son of Suzan (Kettle) and Kenneth Lee Moore. The majority of his life was spent in Mississippi, where he grew up. He came to the Peoria area after Hurricane Katrina.
Kenny was a hard worker, and was employed by both Domino's Pizza, and Jimmy John's as a delivery driver. His great passions in life included his music. His affinity for music began at a young age, and he played the guitar, keyboard, and bongos. He was presently working to form a new band.
His other great passion was his art which has been featured locally at Studio 606. He worked in diverse mediums often incorporating tribal elements to form numerous unconventional masterpieces.
Preceding him in death were his father, Kenneth Lee Moore; maternal grandparents, Louise and Claude Kettle; paternal grandparents, Kathy and William Moore; and step-brother, Brent Johnston.
He loved his family, especially his mama- Suzan (Randy) Johnston, who survives along with his sister, Angela Moore; step-siblings, Jennifer (Sangyeal Lee) Johnston, Eric Johnston, Andrea (Mark) Schneider; nieces and nephews, Asher Case, Delaney Moore, Dillon Johnston, Ethan Noel-Johnston, Benjamin Lee, Bella Lee; and great-niece, Violet Willhite.
His family will remember him as a generous gentle giant.
Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be made to Trillium Place to aid in the assistance of addiction, and mental health services to the community of Peoria. The Wilton Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
