It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Kenneth C. Moore.
Born on June 10, 1951, to Carl and Mary Moore of Marlborough, MA. Kenneth, also known as "Kenny" or "Moorey" to his close friends, was a fierce New England sports fan. It was noted that the first thing his said after waking up from a surgery was "Go Celtics". Kenny could often be found outside manicuring his yard to perfection or downstairs cataloging his miniature bottle collection. He was known as a jokester and storyteller, often reminiscing about his times growing up in Marlborough, MA with his friends who he held dear. He was an avid walker and master of "name that band" 60's edition.
The two things he regarded the highest were his love for his family and faith in Jesus Christ. In 1978 he met the love of his life, Mary Ellen Vandette, they were married in 1981 and moved to Baldwinville, MA. There they had three children, Matthew, Jarrod, and Kelley. It was there he raised and cared for his family with an intense love and passion.
His death is preceded by his parents Carl and Mary Moore.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Ellen, his son Matthew and his significant other Jayme, his son Jarrod, his daughter Kelley and her fiancé Abner, and his two grandchildren Liliana and Lincoln.
This loss is a large one and he will be missed severely.
Visiting hours for Kenny will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 5:00-7:00PM at the Morris-Johnston Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough, MA 01772. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough, MA 01752. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 133 Wilson St., Marlborough, MA.
