METROPOLIS, Ill. - Kenneth Allen "Kenny" Moore, 63 of Metropolis, died at 4:38 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, at his residence.
There will not be any services.
Kenny worked for many years as a professional painter in Western Kentucky and the Nashville, Tennessee, area.
Kenny is survived by his sister, Amy Darnell (Brad); brother, Doug Moore; nieces and nephews, Bobby Davis, David B. Davis (Allie), Alex Neihoff, Abby Neihoff (Bryce), Ezra Darnell (Hannah), and Sylas Darnell (Mariah); great-nieces and great-nephews, Natalie Davis, Kasen Darnell, and Jasper Darnell; uncle, Bob Carr; aunts, Linda Rick and Lorna English; brother-in-law, David P. Davis; and several cousins and close friends.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Joseph B. Moore; mother and stepfather, Gail (Carr) Powell and husband, Ralph W. Powell; sisters, Kristie Ann Isoline and Pamela Jo Davis; nephew, Jason Michael Click; and several aunts and uncles.
Memorials may be made with Hodgeville Cemetery Association (Bethany Cemetery), c/o Leigh Ann Hertter, 172 Waltersburg Road, Golconda, Illinois 62938.
