Kenneth Douglas Moore passed away peacefully at Madison Center with family and friends by his side. He was born May 10, 1948 to the late Albert Sidney Moore Jr. and Mary Jean Bussard Moore.
Doug was a kind and gentle soul that befriended all that crossed his path on his many walks around his neighborhood.
Doug is survived by his brother, Matthew Moore and companion, Janet Graul; sister, Erin Hartman and companion, Tommy Zeitz; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was especially close to his nephew, Michael Hartman, whom he loved like a son.
The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to the staff at Madison Center for the excellent care they provided for Doug.
Cremations arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home. His ashes will be interred in Marlinton, WV at a later date.
