Kenneth Mueller Obituary
Ken accepted Jesus as his personal Savior through the ministry of Pastor Prince at Bethesda Church in Minneapolis, MN. He had a significant impact on Ken's life and encouraged Ken to attend Moody Bible Institute where he met and married the love of his life Mary Lou Bierbaum on April 17, 1952.
Ken served his country as a Marine in the Korean War, after which he and Mary became missionaries to the migrant crop workers in Yuba City, California. In 1960, after serving California's migrants for six years, they moved to Brazil with Bethesda Missions as church planting missionaries. After serving Brazilians for 36 years via clinics, schools and churches they returned home to Richfield, MN. Here they continued to serve via writing Christian leader training materials in Portuguese. His life verse was Romans 1:16.
Ken is survived by children Lucinda (Cindy & husband Bob Lippert, Linnae & husband Jim Knoll, & Bruce Mueller; grandchildren Heather & husband Dan West, Ian & wife Claire Lippert, Esther & Peter Mueller, great grandchildren Lucy & Jasper West and Emilie Lippert.
Ken is preceded in death by his wife, parents and sister Avis Matero.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday February 7, 2026, in the Nicollet Room at Realife Cooperative, 8641 Wentworth Ave. So. Bloomington, 55420.
