Kenneth Elmer Muenchow, age 87, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 in Shawano. He was born on November 10, 1935 to the late Elmer and Loretta (Staab) Muenchow in Milwaukee. Kenneth lived by the motto, "Honor and Duty" and served his country proudly as a member of the United States Marines. He was united in marriage on July 27, 1957 to Maxine Biscobing in Milwaukee. Providing for his family was his main priority and he loved them with all his heart. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids. He also enjoyed feeding the birds as he was an avid bird watcher. Kenneth was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed watching the games. He was ambitious and a self-proclaimed logger, known to cut down his own trees as well as families' or friends' trees as needed.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine; children, Mark (Robin Smitherman) Muenchow and Kristi (David Eggman) Muenchow; grandchildren, Eric (Kelly) Muenchow, Josh Muenchow, Marcus Muenchow, Jacqui (Justin) Gumtow and Lucas Muenchow; great-grandchildren, Maria Gumtow and Peyton Muenchow; and his beloved cat, Isabel "Mutzie".
Kenneth is preceded in death by his son Mike and twin daughters, Lisa and Lori Muenchow; his parents; and all of his siblings.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
