Kenneth "Ken" Wayne Mull, 76, of Kings Mountain, passed away October 4, 2022, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
He was born December 14, 1945, son of the late Roy Mull and Elva Jackson Mull.
He attended Trinity Church of the Living God in Kings Mountain.
Ken loved his family and he had a great compassion for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
He loved to fish and enjoyed gardening. He was an avid beekeeper.
He retired from Mauney Hosiery after many dedicated years of service where he worked as a maintenance technician.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Dr. Bo Wagner and Rev. Freddie Grigg.
The family will receive friends 1-3 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of over 54 years, Mary Short Mull; sons, Mark Mull and wife Sandra, Kenneth Mull II and wife Lova; daughters, Lynn Williams and husband Jeff, Kimberly Mull and husband Richard Roseberry, Holly Bolt and husband Chad; brother, Johnny Mull; sister, Diane Thomas; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Wilson; sister, Phyllis Biddix; brothers, Dale, Steve, Jeff and Jack Mull; grandsons, Chris Mull, Johnathan Humphries.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
