Sharon Mull

Sharon Mull passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family and friends, on January 5, 2026, after multiple health complications. Sharon was born in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Golden. Throughout her life, she lived in many places that helped shape her adventurous spirit, including Germany, Colorado Springs, Arvada, Phoenix, Arizona, Snyder, and Brush, Colorado. While living in Phoenix, she worked as a computer operator. It was in Brush, Colorado, that Sharon met the love of her life, Karl Mull. The couple moved to Dyckesville, Wisconsin, where they were married. During their time there, Sharon worked at DePrey's Kwik Stop as a cashier and bait wrangler, a role that suited her humor and grit. Sharon and Karl eventually returned to Brush, where Sharon worked as a bartender, cashier, and waitress at many local establishments. She loved being part of the community and enjoyed tandem skydiving, as well as participating in numerous pool and dart leagues. When the mountains called, Sharon and Karl answered, settling in LaPorte, Colorado. There, Sharon found joy in camping, fishing, tending her pansies and snapdragons, and-above all-loving her children and cherished fur babies. Along the way, she also instigated plenty of skinny dipping. Sharon especially loved sitting on the deck with a beer in hand, listening to music, dancing, and soaking in the mountain views alongside family and friends. Sharon had an infectious spirit and a fierce heart. Though petite in stature, she was strong, fearless, and capable of turning strangers into lifelong friends in an instant. She was preceded in death by her mother, Miriam Bay; her father, Elston Bay; her younger sister, Melody Meiries; and her older brother, Mikael Kochis. Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Karl Mull; her brother, Bernard Bay; her niece, Denelle Maynard; her "self-adopted" daughter, Alex MacLean; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward.
